Some are wishing for a home,
While across the land they roam.
Some are happy to be free,
Until, at last, a girl they see.
Some cowboys have a home,
with a wife, or alone,
They live happily.
But there's some who do not care,
For a home, or life to share,
They have their horse, that's enough,
Their wandering life, it may be tough,
But they don't want a home,
They'd rather be alone,
